Norco BigFoot and a dual crown fork

i have a norco bigfoot and i want to put a dual crown fork on it maybe a boxxer or somthing i would like to know if it will snap anything on the frame from where it sits up higer and at a dif angle and if i should go ahead with getting it any help would be most greatful thxs
