wheels and seat locks
My LBS has a Sunlite kit that consists of wheels locks and a seat post lock. I am thinking of converting my quick release's to this. The set comes with a key. Anyone have experience with these?

I replace quick releases with standard allen bolts, as most crooks are too lazy to carry tools, AND I have u-locks around both wheels in public places. The bolts that require special keys would not work for me, because I lose stuff. And, I would STILL have a u-lock around both wheels, so the added expense of locking skewers is pointless.

Pitlocks operate on the same concept and a well regarded.
Alan, if you can keep the keys to U-locks, why not some of these?

U-Locks are sold with 1 or two extra keys in case you lose them. (would you belive my mini bulldog came with !!5!! keys?)
So this is much safer if you have a tendancy to lose things.
While the pitlocks stuff is probably going to much more expensive to replace when you lose em...
and yeah, I agree with the point on allen bolts, really if there's a dedicated bike thief there's no stopping him, just focus on deterring the casual druggie and bum thieves; allen bolts ought to be good enough for that.

A loop of bike chain through the seat rail to the frame works well. That does scratch the frame.

Re: the Sunlite skewers... I've got them, and I like them. They're basically the same as regular QRs. The key has a pentagonal head though, which I don't think you'd ever see elsewhere, so make sure you keep it safe.

I might have a set of these, I don't know what brand they are, but they have the pentagonal key. I find them more comfortable to use than a standard QR, and they are anodised to match my bike (this was cool in 1996). Don't lose the key though!
