Maybe all the Ohio outcasts could link up for a ride somewhere. I know this is hard to do with varying schedules but. Why not try? Any Takers?

We are all equal opportunity abusers here. SS/Fixed Only one gear and no excuses. The exception being flip/flop hubs allowed by special dispensation.

TOSRV (Tour of the Sciota River Valley) Huge turnout each year. Columbus to Portsmith 100 miles 1st day, turn around and do it again to get home. There is a website for the ride.
Super friends with a guy that has ridden it a couple times (once myself) that tells the story of a very young Frankie Andreau (former 7-Eleven, Motorola, USPS pro) being motorpaced from the start to the finish and back again in the first day.

Okay, definately not going to be able to do that one....only been riding about 10 months, my longest ride to date was 35 miles...but i like the idea of doing an urban assault with all of the ohio ss/fixed riders

The year I rode it I did it with the Findley club (Hancock Handlebars). Since that time the hotel we (and many others) stayed in has closed. I really don't like the idea of sleeping on a gym floor.
Any other alternatives around there for sleeps?

Maybe next year when I am better trained and can find a hotel in advance.

I'm amazed at the skill of those BMX guys. I sometimes watch the X-Games on the tube and see the guys do incredible things in the air. The only way I could keep a bike up in the air that long, is to fill the tubes with Viagra.

AHHHHH bmx. For years and years we dreamed of a park in the toledo area. none to be found. The Scott P opens one in the Cleveland area(chenga world).
Fun times were had, I move to Boston and then 6 years later I hear that there is a cement park about to or has opened in toledo. Just peachey.

Here in Bowling Green, there is a 13.5 mile long straight, flat bike path. 27 miles out and back, 2 miles from home base to the head. that make a 31 mile total ride. Anyone care to do that one with me as weather gets warmer? I just have to say, i'll be a little slower than others due to my lower gearing handicap
