Fork ends spacing

Hey everyone,

My bike has a 120mm rear hub, but the fork end spacing is 130mm.

Is this going to make a huge difference? Can't I just put an extra 5mm of spacers on each side?

My chain line was real crooked, so i installed a shorter bottom bracket to straighten it out.

This is my first fixed-gear bike so I'm still learning all of this stuff

thanks.

Yeah so long as nothing is hitting then I don't see any reason why it won't work.

If it's an old and cheap steel frame you might not even need spacers, just tighten it down.

spacers are the prescribed way to go. they're cheap and commonly done when you need to fit 120mm hubs to 130mm dropouts.
