sore tooshy...
yo fixies..
So, I actually took a week off...school, work, even the bike...and basically laid on my ass for 7 days straight. 8 hours sleep a night, naps everyday, blah blah blah...visited my parents in Ohio, spent about 16 hours in the car through those 7 days..
Im back on the bike the past two days, and I am incredibly sore...butt, hamstrings..I havent changed any hardware, position, nothing..
After some time off the bike, anyone else out there experience this kind of soreness?
Before the vacation, I was riding maybe 50 miles a week...nothing too strenuous..all commuting and some play..
thoughts?

I think your body got used to the little exertion of driving and sitting on your duff. Your muscles got out of shape, your butt got used to that nice comfy sofa...it happened to me over my spring break. On a similar note...this morning, instead of jumping out of bed and hopping on the bike within an hour, i skipped my first class and didn't ride until about 1:30. I had no energy, and it felt like i had bonked!! I was out of breath, it was really wierd!
