We're looking to do some kind of ride, and then eat out. One kid will be with maybe-future-in-laws on the East Coast, the other working, so we can not cook for family for the first time in 28 years. er,

What do you have in mind?

I'll have my kids in the morning, then they head over to my ex's at lunch time. I'd be game for an early afternoon kind of ride.

Which day Ron? On Turkey Thursday?
I've been given approval to ride in the AM on Thursday, and have yet to climb Diablo this year.

Diablo sounds fun, but for me, it would have to be an early start.

Oh yeah, that's right. LKHC it is. We'll see how embarrassing a time I'll post.

So how's about this ...
Thursday: Mt. Hamilton
Friday: Mt. Diablo
Sat: Mt. Tam
Sun: Sierra Road

That's one way to get your knee replaced

Will be down in L.A. (Rowland Heights) and possibly Vegas. I was hoping you were going to be down in L.A. and maybe we can get together for a quick climb early Thursday morning. Hmm.....

I'd love to, but it would have to be here in the Sac area. I have cooking to do for my family. We don't have any family on this side of the country, so it's just the 4 of us. But we still do that big dinner thing.

My plans are changing everyday....

Anyone know if you can use bullhorn handle bars for the LKHC?

I might ride up on my TaxiBike Thanksgiving.

You can use any bike you want.

You should put single speed in the catagory section when you sign up (It's not a real catagory... but it shows up next to your time in the results list... juts so people know that time was done on a SS).

We are doing the Low Key on the tandem.

It's not a real sanctioned race, and it has a very laid back type of organization. But, many not laid back riders

Didn't MsIncredible do a version of this? Only she did San Bruno instead of Sierra Rd.

Sounds like a nice weekend plan. Now to find the time for it....

Sat: Ride, eat left overs
Sun: Sleep in eat left overs

You should do Diablo on Saturday, since I would be down for that and haven't done it yet (believe it or not)!

Hermes and I are doing the Mount Hamilton Low Key Hilll Climb as well - but we will be on our singles. Looks like there will be a good NorCal Bike Forum showing! We did this last year - I think this is now becoming a Thanksgiving Day tradition.

If you start in Walnut Creek, heed this warning: That stupid town has two major streets off of Ygnacio Valley Road called Walnut. You want Walnut Avenue, not Walnut Boulevard.
