Agreed...they were the only extra straps I could find around my apt...I'm gonna throw some black leather ones on there soon.

I actually didn't even notice until you said something, but yes, it definitely looks a bit bent.

Yeah, I built it and then realized it's really similar to one of my other bikes, so I threw it up on there to see if anyone would bite at that price...if not, I've got no problem keeping it.

GestapoTactics, I'd lose the reflectors and the larger chainring, and change the wheels out to something non-machined.

Iv never had good luck with leather straps holding tight. Iv tried them brandnew, used, clean, dirty, frayed, you name it. I perfer nylon whe it comes to straps but I wear clipless on my main bike. I admit I have leather sraps on my cruiser but thats a little different.

In general I am finding that many of you have your brake lever mounted on the wrong side... that is if you are running a brake.

Up here in Canuckistan there is a growing trend to set up one's brakes with the lever on the right and I have been doing this for so long that conventional setups with dual brakes take a little getting used to.

I just like to be able to signal and keep my hand on the brake at the same time. There's no real right or wrong way to do it.

Is that a bad thing? Im to OCD to not have them on or just one of them on. If I loose both in one day, so be it, ill leave them off. Until that day, they stay on.

lose the decals on your rims, get black track pedals vs. the silver road pedals on there now & it looks like your rear wheel would be a ***** to remove with the chain that short

nice ride BTW

I admit they are great looking pedals and they are comfortable but I have tried a set and they do not fit my foot at all. I am a size 12 so it was hard sliding my foot in the straps without them getting cought on something. I was running L MKS clips at the time.

@GestapoTactics...don't worry mine got skipped over on page 22 also. I saw yours though...

I would suggest getting rid of the yellow altogether...it does not look good IMO. Also, fix the handlebar angle, get a new crankset, and possibly a nicer stem and saddle. After all that you will have something to work with. Good luck........

Well, now I'm curious... Any suggestions? The cat could stand to lose some weight. The machined front is because next year I'll have to run a front brake.

Well, the frame's fine, but your bar wrap has a rip in it, the CAT construction yellow Novatech/Weinmanns do nothing for me, the saddle, seatpost, and cranks are old clunkers...
