James Black's The New Cycle Truck

Not sure if it's posted here before, but it's new to me.

Very extensive writeup of his extremely good looking custom Cycletruck - I just wonder how bad that "shimmy" problem really is?

From: Port Townsend, WA

Bikes: xtracycle, electric recumbent, downtube folder and more

Since the load is outside the axle, I wouldn't put too much weight there.

Interesting write-up. The bike doesn't look small until you see the rider on it. I think I would have gone for more of the Cycle-truck layout but maybe with better components.

My Arpan low-gravity bike can get some vibration in the basket. It's mainly the basket vibrating side-to-side in resonance with pedaling.

He mentions in this article, and I've read elsewhere, about how heavy the Worksman low-gravity bike is. There COULD be a reason it is built the way it is.

There's similarity between this bike and the Kemper Lorri. Specs indicate 30kg front and 25kg rear carry capacity.
