Your bike is my bike too.

I mentioned earlier that my friend Mike bought a new cyclocross bike and will be picking it up tomorrow. I'm about as excited as he is about it. It's almost like I'm getting a new bike without spending any money

Ha ha ha! I know what you mean. My version is a little different that yours...

Last week, I bought a Lemond off Craigslist as a surprise gift to a friend who's just starting to ride. Researching and buying that bike was almost as much fun as getting a bike for myself. Of course, springing the surprise on her was even better!

Is that Mike who came with us to Hamilton? Very cool.

Yep. Same Mike. He said he wants to try Hamilton with the new bike too.

Alan, that is so cool for you to do that. Hopefully she'll really enjoy it.

That's gotta be the coolest thing in the world!

You've basically changed their lives. I wish I could be like that guy "Mike Anthony" On the old program "the Millionaire". I just go around and give bikes to people, how cool would that be, so I know what you feel like Henry. Someone gets a bike and you're as excited as them. I remember when I bought Cathy her Klein it was like she got a puppy dog!....Just wish she'd ride it more!

Hey, I said it's a Craigslist purchase, so not exactly new. But new to her, that's what counts. Got a really good deal on a Lemond Tourmalet. I can't take the whole credit, some of her friends pitched in too.
