Today, a spokesperson for Wal-Mart said, "...Sales of traditional bicycles have been flat for several years... but we hope to attract young people to cycling with this cool new design." According to Wal-Mart the benefits of their recumbent are:

# 16-inch wheel for unique low-profile riding fun
# Adjustable 3-position seat
# Durable, weather-resistant decals
# Bright colors
# Quick and easy assembly
# Made in the USA
