Replacing 420mm A2C suspension fork

It's time to replace the Answer Manitou Spyder fork on my '98 Klein Pulse Race frame. Axle to Crown on the Spyder is 420mm, travel is, as best I can tell from the internets, 70mm.

Given what I'm used to, I don't need the biggest and bestest. A2C on 100mm travel forks is usually in the 470mm range, which seems like much too much.

Closest I've found to that is a Marzocchi 2008-MARATHON CORSA SL WC with 80mm travel, A2C 444mm, but it's $450ish. Seems a tad excessive.

So - any suggestions on a reliable, user maintainable 80mm travel fork that has A2C close enough to 420mm that it won't completely flake out the geometry on my frame?

Thanks!
