Nothing new, really. I removed the fork boots on my Mag21 (oh no, naughtynaughty) so I could fit a 2.35" front tire on the crapper. When I saw the size of the little stanchions, I was taken back to the old days. I had to get a comparison shot

Yup, the trunks are 35mm on the 55. I think the Mag is 28. (maybe less)

frankenmike...yah man the Mag is still holding air. It's crazy. I put a little grease on the top to keep the rubber basketball nippers pliable. As far as the inside air seals...I'm just lucky. The bike doesn't get much air time b/c the fork is so cute and the wheelset is less than "edworthy". It does get some good trail riding though. I don't take it too easy on the thing.

Thats a cool comparison pic. I love looking at the old school MTN bikes compared to the new. Love riding both also. Its no different than the way car buffs are.

I actually dropped the air PL a smidge. My pump is wierd. It only has 3 marks below 50psi ie...the first mark is equal to 10 or 20? I don't know. I'm running slightly less than the 1st mark on the index.

It's a Wrench Force shock pump, but it's not any different in appearance to something like a Manitou pump. Most of the fork pumps out there (not all) seem to be basically the same, just re-branded.
