When addiction becomes madness, lightweight group photo time!

I just rolled out only my ridable refurbished bikes, and felt a little embarrassed. The feeling quickly went away though, as I put them back in one by one. I brought some of the ones in the back of the garage to the front, and will get to know them again. There are more, in various stages of rebuild or waiting in the wings. At least 6 or 7, maybe more? Is this an addiction, or madness?,,,,BD

Okay, show us all how sick you really are. Roll them all out and take a group photo of all your bikes!! I know I'm not alone! I know it's Winter, but those of you who can, join in? Maybe the thread will go long enough until the white stuff is gone.

Whats more amazing is how closely sized they all are, most people wind up with some bikes that don't fit em one way or another.. which means he has even more somewhere!

Only 33 Gallons?
I bought a 60 gallon upright for some serious tire inflating!
But really I bought it for media blasting a frame I want to paint.

Mine runs my cabinet well enough for what I use it for. Blasting is all about volume though, that's for sure.,,,,BD

Okay, show us all how sick you really are. Roll them all out and take a group photo of all your bikes!! I know I'm not alone! I know it's Winter, but those of you who can, join in? Maybe the thread will go long enough until the white stuff is gone.

When I first look at the pic, I thought that is a lot of bikes. I don't have that many. Then you counted, and then I counted also. It dawned on me oh no that is how many I have now!

This is the only one you are getting until spring since it is single digits out and we have 8"+ of snow. (click image for a bigger pic)

Left to right in the picture are: Van Dessel Buzz Bomb full suspension geared 29er, Tom Teesdale track, Gary Fisher Ferrous SS 29er, 76' Schwinn Paramount P14 track, and a 2003 Kelly Knobby X cross bike. Not pictured are: 83' Nishiki Seral, 73' Schwinn Paramount P13, 80' Viner profession Track, 85 Eddy Merckx Corsa, Van Dessel Buzz Bomb 29er MTB, 86' Schwinn Peloton fixed gear conversion, 85' Schwinn Le Tour dedicated bike polo bike, and the two bikes I just bought from Ebay on Tuesday. I swear they were impulse purchases and were right by the register, a 00' Voodoo Wazoo cross bike and a mid-80's Univega Viva Touring. The Univega should be here on Friday and the Voodoo on Tuesday.

Love the Kelly! Not to discount the others in the group, not by a long shot. I am starting to get a
thing for cross and touring bikes though. My Univega has 40c tires and ergo bars. It's what I can afford for now. I guess if I sold some of these I could get a nice vintage cyclocross bike.,,,,,BD

Does that Tom Teesdale have vertical drops in combination with the eccentric BB?
If so, how do you find it?

I think you are confusing the bikes. The GF looks to have an eccentric BB, but you can't even see the bottom bracket on the track bike.
