To crit or not to crit...

There's a 2-day race 13 days from now. 45 minute crit on day 1, 45 mile RR on day 2. Somebody convince me that I can race and win both days... my legs are telling me yes, my mind is telling me to only do the road race.

Hahahaha.. I knew that procrit was a drug, but didn't know what it does. Nice double entendre.

Do both.

Bikes: Yes.

Most of the interesting races are between january and april, with a few fun rr's scattered out mid-late season.

And yea, I might as well race before the rest of the field gets in shape.

I'm jealous. I'm eagerly awaiting the start of the season, we don't have any races until March, and then it doesn't really get underway until late April.

The road race is on day 2 and you know one tiny little crit won't waste you for the next day.

Unless you do like I did and attack constantly, go for every prime (win them) and use every last bit of energy to place. The next day, I barely placed 5th - and it felt like I was beaten to an inch of my life.
