Not so sure about that. Garmin has guys on the confirmed riders list, but i don't see any Astana or Trek U23 riders. I figured they might show up since they are going to be in the area, but so far they aren't on the list and the Pro/1/2 list is full. Do you think they'll make a special exception?

I think they would make any kind of exception for Levi, Lance, Contador, Pop, Rubiera, or Horner.
What a kickass team they got this year.

We've occasionally had Horner out on the River Ride, most recently when he was on Predictor Lotto.
It'd be awesome to have him bring Lance and Levi along sometime.

Then once out on the road, it was business time and he dragged us up and down the Garden Highway at 30-33 for an hour. It was brutal.
And then after the sprint he was chatty and friendly on the roll back into town.

When/where does the River Ride start? I have done the Monday evening ride that starts near Discovery Park, but that photo is a different spot. I heard there was a weekend version of the River Ride, is that where the photo is from?

In the alley behind City Bike Works (25th and K, in Midtown). Every Saturday at 10am, rain or shine. It heads through town to the bike trail at the Blue Diamond Almond plant (20th and C), then west on the Garden Highway. It's about 45 miles. The group usually goes 25 to 30 on the main part, depending on the weather, time of year, and who shows up. 35 to 38 for the sprint.
