I got about 150$ to spend!
Looking for an single/fixed gear bike. i got 150 dollers to start with. dont need anything fancy. a working bike would be best. i need the frame to be 58cm. If you got a spare! i got the money!

your not going to get much of anything in the way of a complete bike for $150. Your best bet would be to keep an eye out for an old conversion on CL, but even then expect a POS unless you get really lucky. I'd suggest save up another $250 and go the bikesdirect route for a solid ride.

Do some research on good frames, then keep your eyes open at garage sales, thrift stores and on Craigslist. Pick one up for cheap, buy a cheap fixed wheelset (or just a rear wheel), throw those suckers on and go. Be patient looking for the frame though, it's not always easy to find a decent one.

I'd go with a $100 rear wheel and a ~$50 road bike from late 70's/early 80's. Will probably take a little while to find one that is in good enough shape, with horiz. dropouts, good bearings, etc. They are out there though.
