Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I forgot. I also bought a valve extender, a cheap front skewer, some winter gloves, and I'm in the process of getting another Rudy Project helmet on my crash replacement, and also some new (probably Rudy Project) sunglasses since mine got run over in the crash.

For me it was a purchase made on impulse after a long week of riding, and luckily something found at most local food staore...Tucksmedicated pads.

I bought my first pair of Assos bibs (the least excpensive ones). Comes with a book full of dubious statements about this seventh wonder of sports clothing. Very good shorts though. They claim that one should wash them at 30 degrees celsius and not spin. I want to wash them at 50 degrees and spin, anyone else who does that ?

lots of folks who spend that much money on Bibs follow the manufactures care recommendations. seems like a no brainer to me. later.

Bought a Cycleops Fluid2 Trainer for my wife. Now, there are two of them and we have no excuse to not train on those rainy summer days or cold winter days.

Now, I just need to get rid of the FORZA F1 she bought a while back.
