Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No, not a computer...

The "blank" is by me. While I'm building the site I have the normal "Lorem Ipsum" stuff there. I blanked that out for the screenshot.

I have one funky foot so I bought the fancy carbon moldable-upper-and-insole Shimano MTB shoes that are supposed to mold to your foot. I'm not crazy about the styling, but the fit ought to be worth it! Now I gotta find a shop that has the oven and vacuum machine to mold the damn things that will do it for me even though I didn't buy the shoes from them. Wonder how much that'll cost me... (Got the shoes new on ebay for less than half the original msrp - there is a newer model out but these ought to do the trick).

Day two of shopping. Back to REI for Headwind pants and some legwarmers to wear under them. The jacket was $17 and I'm not yet sure it's going to work. Have to try it out on the bike with some layers. I'm going to be toasty in the blustery, California winters!

Let me know how they work out, and if you got a good price on them.

Some things to think about... Not sure if anyone else would be interested, but is it really worth telling others the eBay item number? Also, that seller hasn't sold anything before.
