Shimano chain rings

I have a Cannondale touring 2 and I want to switch out the smallest front chainring (26) and replace it with a 22 tooth ring to lower my uphill grinding gear. The current crankset is a Shimano 'FC-M443' which has a 64mm bcd. I have found a 9-speed compatible, 22 tooth Shimano 'XTR M960' chainring online, which has the same bcd (64mm) and I want to know whether I will find any compatibility issues between the chainring and the crankset? Is there anything else I need to look out for before I stump up the cash?

Thanks to anyone who can chime in and answer definitively

Same # bolt holes?
Those 960s are 4 bolt.
edit: checked. They'll be fine.
