Italian culture still values craftsmanship and it shows in their bikes. When I walk around and old Italian city, I am amazed by the number of craftsman still available to restore the old buildings. Try to find a good stone mason in the US; it takes some work.

Not the best pic but...
199? Colnago Master. I think it was the model briefly called "Olympic." My wife is actually riding it and it's primarily Campy Record 8. If some plans I have come to be it'll come back to me and I plan orn retro-fitting it with vintage Super Record that's on the Basso below it.
198? Basso. Grabbed the frame from eBay and the inappropriate fork from Performance. Scored some Super Record off Campy Only classifieds. I like it but I hope to move the SR to the 'nago above.

I owned a 1972 Gibson Flying V: Sold it. I owned a 1993 BMW K75s motorcycle in Porsche yellow: Sold it.... I won't make the same mistake with my Colnago. I will keep it forever. I'm so stoked.

I did, that's an old photo. Also got a Fizik Pave on the thing, and the obligatory Specialized Water Bottles of Doom.

Thanks, I probably can't afford another bike for a while in any case.
I'm thinking of changing the group, though, the triple is useless in south-eastern VA, and I'd like something better than Mirage.
