How do I make pictures smaller to be able to post them?

I have some jpegs I would like to post but they are too big. They are 250 K and the limit is 100K. Any ideas on how to make them smaller?

What OS are you running? Do a web search for "image editting tools" in google or something. If you want an online platform independent solution for GIFs, check out this free online GIF eTools webpage.

Any image editor should allow you to resize.

Or, if you have power point, insert the pic into a blank screen, add any text or other pics you might like, and "save as" a JPEG file.

I have done 6-8 medium size pics this way and added text and whatever and still stayed under 100K.

See:

or

for some not so great examples of power point presentations
