Hey Joe

Hey Joe, when I come to the site it says todays birthday is Buddy Hayden's...But then I log in and it says cyclocrossmares. What gives? The same thing happened with JonR's b-day, when I was logged out it said JonR, log in and it was different.

Time zone differences, When your logged out, time goes to GMT, when you log in, it sets the time to your local time, in this case, EST

Joe, speaking of logging in/out, should I always log out when I leave BikeForums? I usually just close Netscape or go to another website [usually a job search site ]. I hope I'm not screwing things up.

I motion to convene the Bike Forums Court for a ruling.

I think the software logs you out after a certain period of inactivity. It's important to log out if you are using a public terminal of course.

So Joe, what's the verdict?

I never log out bikerider is correct, the forum software will log out out automaticly after 15min of unactivity. If you access the site from work, or school, its a good idea to log out.
