New guy with a new bike
Hey everyone, I'm new here.
My name is Joe, and I'm starting to get back into riding again. Last week I picked up two Giant Rocks. They've got an oversized steel frame, with Shimano components and a Suntour? Shock fork.
I know it's not the best bike, but I looked around for about 2 weeks before I settled on this one. As far as I can tell, it's the most similar to my last bike I had 14 years ago (without buying a 14 year old bike). That one was a Mongoose Alta, without the shock fork.
The second one is for my wife. She still has a bike that looks like a hybrid or something. Women's frame, with mountain tires and mountain bars. But she figured she needed a new one anyway, so I got two.
We're looking forward to getting some good riding time in this summer. I just got a couple fork mounts from SportRack for my truck and installed them today, so we're good to go without scratching anything.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing from you all.
