Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Check out nau.com. Very interesting Portland based-company clothing retailer/manufacturer. Their clothing has a lot of spillover into cycling applications. I have their merino wool sweater, baselayer, merino shirt, two shorts (spandex in the fabric) and softshell pants which I use when riding in the city or commuting. The cut of everything I have works well on the bike.

Sustainable business practices, small carbon footprint business model and and performance wear that fits in with real life.

No relation to the company, just impressed by what I saw in Portland. It's a smaller business but one which I want to succeed.

Nothing like a 95.00 tee shirt. Seems like nice clothes but man that's expensive!

i cant seem to find this pair of pants in this picture anywhere on the website:
or did he just tie his pants with a strap? because these pants just look very convenient (no folding, no tying)
