Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I finally broke in my b17 on my campus bike and I was completely blown away with the comfort, ride quality is like riding in a lincoln town car or crown victoria with a fully broken in suspension, a pillowy feel to bumps in the road. I've been missing A LOT.

For the roadie. Ti rails. Can't wait for it to break in. It's totally going to be like riding on a cloud.

Anybody have an idea of a break in time for these sportier brooks models?

You will once you get a full carbon frame... now I must find a way to offset the weight difference... time to cut the steerer, loose the spacers, and SLAM the stem; cut the seatpost to a nub; fill tubes with helium.
