That's a classic that's been around for ages, although I've never been to it ... quite a drive from my town. Just looking at the results from last year it seems to have some draw from MSP, CHGO, and MKE but it's not like the Quad Cities on Memorial day. Just a solid, well run criterium.

It's got a little bit of a hill. What goes up, must come down.

Appears that the road race is on the 25th and the crit on the 26th. The road race is hilly. Crit has hills as well - looks like fun.

Leland Kermesse is on the 25th also. I think that's flat. But there's gravel/dirt, and probably some wind. Better start making up excuses.

I'm about 35 pounds beyond where traveling a long distance to race sounds like a good idea. Hell, I can't even talk myself into thinking Leland won't be a waste of time.

I did some bad things with the last one in white, no joke (that was pre-Iowa Campus Girl's spread...i guess i was out of her league afterward--why oh why did i go to college with a girlfriend).
