some tightness above the patella (2+ weeks now)

I went out for my first 15 mile ride of the season a few weeks ago
and since that day i still continue to have some tightness right
above my kneecap on both legs.

It feels like the muscle is really fatigued at the bottom of where my quad
attaches. Any advice or ideas on what it could be would be great. thank you

Maybe not so far on the first go around? Know sometimes its hard to do, but I know when to pack it up and head for the house. Legs tell me, back tells me and especially my hands/wrist tell me. Just a thought....

Knee pain is usually a fit issue, no? And it could be any part of the fit, even handlebars, since force transmits.

Alternately, worry about tendinitis, I suppose. Take it easy.
