Speaking of fixie fixations, here's a real treat for y'all:

https://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3579711306.html

How someone can dream of asking $2500 in the title, then ask a different amount in the body of the ad is bewildering:

[h=2]Fixie bicycle for sale - $2500 (Cda)[/h]

Fixie bicycle for sale. Wheels were 350 by themselves. Get the whole bike for 350$. Will trade for marine stereo equipment, amps, subs, speakers, deck, etc. will also trade for a nice rocker or banana snowboard...call or text 406-207-406 five
Thanks

Peugeot UO8 on Charleston, SC C/L. Charleston is usually an average market, I've picked up a couple of nice bikes there.

Well, the PO lived in Utah, so it is probably worth it.

At least it is very clean.

Vintage Peugeot U08 - Great Condition - $600 (West Ashley )

For sale - Vintage circa 1970s green Peugeot u08. I bought this bike from the first owner, who lived in Utah. It is garage kept, in pretty much the same shape I got it in. The bike has only been ridden a dozen times or so over the past 4 years. As far as I know, the bike is in original condition with the exception of the tires, which I imagine have been replaced. 22 inch frame. If you want more pictures or have a serious inquiry, email and we will quickly respond.

The drive side drop out is skewed, the seller makes no mention of it. He says the frame is in good shape.

It is clear to see in the pictures, I think he is hoping that no one will notice.

Can't see the skew very well, it appears to be on purpose. The only view that wasn't taken was looking at the rear triangle from the rear! A more trustworthy seller would surely show that.

The drive side dropout is clearly spread open, might be twisted too. Probably put a rd thought the spokes. I could fix that in a few minutes most likely, but would pay less due to the always present chance of the dropout cracking (especially being chrome!)

I would suspect that the fork was installed backwards. This will be mildly tuned up and relisted next week as a custome Italian racer.

Normally it is the other way around, with a lower price in the title than a higer price inside or 'make offer'.

I agree BG, the seller is either too doped up to be coherent, or, was confusing two bikes mid-stream. Either way, I'm hesitant to do business with people like that!

With that backward fork you might be the last too!

[h=2]Cannondale Road Bike - $600 (berkeley)[/h]
Selling a black and white Cannondale road bike from the mid-1980's.
Similar models can be found in the 1985 Cannondale catalogue, e-mail for the link.

The bike is 12-speed and has recently been restored with new tubes, tires, cables, housing, brakes, brake hoods, handlebar tape, peddles, bottle cage, seat, and chain.
In perfect riding condition, rare small frame size for short riders.
The stand-over height is around 45 cm. For better clarification, I am 5'1" and the bike fits me perfectly.

I also have a white Schwinn pump for sale, an extra tube, chain lube, and headlights/taillights for riding at night.

Call/text (818) 517-3982 or e-mail for more information.
