Bicycle Times.

The makers of Dirt Rag are putting out a commuting mag called Bicycle Times.

It's cool to see a mag devoted to our type of cycling.

Yea, I picked up their first copy from performacebike. I may get a subscription after I see the next few issues.

I've picked up the first issue, and been following the website. So far (and I'm a fan of Dirt Rag), meh -- but I'll withold judgement for a few issues. Don't get me wrong: I really, really want this mag to succeed. However, the first issue is pretty thin/pretty dull, but then again its parent mag (DR) is in something of a decline too under its new regime in my view. We'll see!

Hrm. One of their current articles is noseless saddles. Not about them. No it's the "omg you can't have teh babies" stuff that's been going around since ... 1890. Not a good sign.

It's my judgement that bicycle magazines should be a little more careful before they give credence to the idea that their customers suffer from impotence.
