Invitation: Central Va Bike Festival May 17

I'd like to put out an invitation for everyone to the Central Virginia Bike Festival coming up May 17 in Forest (Lynchburg) Virginia. It's a fund raiser for the Alan B. Peterson Cancer Center with 20,40,60 & 100 mile rides. The 40-100 milers go through the Sedalia portion of Bedford county and have awesome scenery. The 60 & 100 miler adds the 13 mile climb up Thunder Ridge on the Blue Ridge Parkway into the mix. I'd love to meet some of you folks at the ride.

Thanks
VaughnA

Thanks Vaughn. I'll be there (most likely wearing my red BF "50+" jersey.) I'm planning to stay in the recommended Kirkley Hotel on Saturday night, so maybe I'll see some fellow bikers around.

If it wasn't for the Assault on Mt. Mitchell on the 18th, I'd be there. Love Bedford County and the Peaks. Maybe next year.

Great! I'll either be wearing my CVBF or my RoadBikeReview "Lounge" jersey and on my Fillmore Singlespeed. Looking forward to seeing you there.

I'll be doing the Tour de Chesapeake on May 16th, so I won't be able to make it to Lynchburg. Have fun!
