Tour of the Gila Results *Spoilers Possible*

Any info? I've got a friend racing, and a bunch of his teammates, and I'm also interested in how Mellow Johnny's is doing.

I figure they're still racing or just finishing. Race started at 9:05 MST (they don't do daylight savings there) or so for the P/1 field, doing 94 miles. Results aren't up yet on their website.

Is there a text feed of comments from someone? I'd especially love a Cat 2 feed so I can follow my friend, but following his team in P/1 would be nice too.

Yes they do. We're the other state between California and Texas.

Since the finish is 75 miles from Silver City and they have to wait for all categories to finish before bringing the results back to town, results usually aren't posted until well into the evening.

Full results are up.

https://www.tourofthegila.com/

Lance @ 8
Scott Tietzel (DLP) @ 21
Horner @ 35
Taylor Phinney @ 93

Looking at the times, it looks like it was pretty blown up. Only one rider missed the time cut.

Man, the cramps! Sucks -- that's what happened to me at Pace Bend (not nearly as worthy of cramps as Gila). Good to see the team up there a bit though, and College in 3rd. I wonder who he's partying with tonight...

What a man!

Attacking the day after a bad set of cramps took him out of placing for the first day.

Can't wait to see what hideous strength he pulls out for the TT!

A club-team teammate (cat 3) won today. 2nd place was a guy I race every weekend, goes to Denver University. Nice guy.
Based on the guys I know, it looks like I would have been top 5 so far pretty easily
