Feeling Odd today?
It's National Odd Day (though I suppose some of the characters on this forum will feel very much at ease today)
05-07-09
From a newspaper article:
"Even the even-keeled might feel a bit odd today.
After all, it's National Odd Day.
Thursday, May 7, is one of only six days in the 21st century in the United States to have the date readout (month, day, year) appear as consecutive odd numbers, 05-07-09.
(In most countries, however, today is 07-05-09, because they use the day first, then the month, then the year.)
The first Odd Day of the 21st century was Jan. 3, 2005, and the second was March 5, 2007.
The remaining three days this century to be National Odd Days are July 9, 2011 (07-09-11), September 11, 2013 (09-11-13) and November 13, 2015 (11-13-15)."
