tubes for 16" 349
does anybody know what size inner tubes can be used for 16" (349 16x1 3/8) tires?
the 16x 1.75- 2.15 size for example? if not, any others?
I did not receive any extra tubes from BF when I got my Tikit, and am having a hard time finding them here in Australia
Had a bad blowout and now I am sans bike!

I think you have to be careful here - the 349 tube is given in fractions of inches, while the 305 is given in decimal inches. Stick to 16x1-1/8 to 1/3/8".
I could source some for you here and shoot them over. St Kilda cycles would also be a good place. Try to get Schwalbe; higher cost but very very good quality, you won't have to pump again in a month at least.

I believe Schwalbe and Kenda both make a 16 x 1 3/8 tube that should work for you. If your local bike shops can order these brands, you might be able to get them to order it for you.

349 tubes are certainly available in Oz, Schwalbes are easily found. Which state are you in?

try anyplace that's got recumbants or trikes & give them a call (do a bit of a google search or call greenspeed in melbourne) they usually have access to weird small sizes or can put you onto somebody closer

Any recumbent shop, as per srad, but don't know of any such in NT. Abbotsford Cycles in Melbourne is a good choice for more obscure parts than 349 tubes also. Flying Furniture (recumbent specialists) is worthwhile also.

There's one in the UK, selling these, which I use from time to time.
I wouldn't pump them to > 85 psi, but as they're 1/2 the price of others, just fine if the real thing isn't available.

I have some trouble to find 451 mm tubes in Israel. So, for my R20 I am using a 355 mm tube (Schreader valve) on a 451 mm rim and a 451 x 1 1/8 tyre. I can find tubes this size in every bike shop and they are cheaper. Probably my example can be extended to the 349 mm wheels.
