Paging Dr. Psi ...

OK, so as many of you know, I've been a Buddy Rich drum solo for quite a while now ... and this Saturday the guys got on me pretty hard about it. (my bike was quite noisy) OK, time to tear down the ride.

Verdict: after an official Psimet inspection and review of course ... Bad SRAM red ceramic bottom bracket, non-drive side. New one on order at Psimet's Bike Emporium and Bike Exchange (his basement). I knew my extreme power would get me in trouble some day. Not only that, the rear bearings on my 404's are shot too. The wheel is going to them tomorrow if they can fix it quickly.

I'm estimating I have only about 5-8,000 miles on the Red groupo and maybe 10-15,000 on the Zipps. Hmmmm ... Captain Kirk keeps yelling ... "Too much power Scotty!".

PS, if you bring Psi a nice 6-pack he'll tweak your wheel to super true for free.

I know I really shouldn't bite on this . . .

. . . but, don't you think your ride would be better maintained if kept out of the ditch?

Coming home from bike the drive, had to stop at Garibaldis for a steak/onion and cheese. Dont get out that way much any more to take advantage. I saw this Cervelo with smoke coming from the BB and some guy with a wheaties kit on and figured it had to be you. Little did I know the smoke wasnt from your power but from those inferior SRAM parts. Campy doesnt do that
