suspension fork on a cyclocross bike?
I have a 'cross bike similar to this one. I'd like to install a 29er fork like this. Can it be possible with the 'cross frame geometry? I'd like this setup for bikecamping with lightweight gear. If not, my other option is to get an old steel mountain bike or a 29er mountain bike and install drop bars. I don't like flat bars.

I meant to say bikepacking. Scratch the suspension fork idea. Since I'm getting Mavic A719's, I'll get some 29er tires. Bigger tires at lower [PSI's] should give me a softer ride. I need to find another fork that'll fit 1.9-2.1 size and honor an integrated headset.
