Good Garmin 705 Price?

GPS R US has the blingey Garmin 705 package available for $505.00 ie
CPU/GPS+HRM+Cadence+NA Maps on a card+Bike Mount.

This company appears to have an ebay presence and also appears
to be in New Zealand.

Is this a good price?

Has anyone here had dealings with the company?

Thanks,

Jerry

The mountain equipment coop in Canada has it listed for $545 Canadian but I don't know if that includes the HRM, maps, etc.

Looks like a great price to me

That seems to be a very good price. However, when I bought my Garmen, friends advised me to purchase the maps on a DVD so that I could have them on my computer AND on my Garmen. The maps on the memory card cannot be uploaded to your computer. I did have to purchase a memory card for about $15.

This is what I always reccomend if someone wants to have the ability to plan routes on their own computer. If you don't you still have the option of planning them using one of the online sites like BikeRouteToaster.com.

Geomangear has refurbed Edge 705's with normal 1 year Garmin warranty for $375. The only thing this does not include is the maps and SD card. Figure another $100 for those.

Colorado Cyclist had a killer deal earlier in the week, but its gone now. $399 for a bundle wth HR and Cadence. Not sure about the maps. All brand new.
