Springwater Corridor - east end
I will be coming through Portland in early August. Assuming no rain (means less mud), what are conditions like on the trail from Rugg Rd to Boring? It looks dirt or gravel. I'll be travelling on a cyclocross bike with panniers. Without the panniers I would ride it without worry, but I just want to be sure it is at least decent before I take my laden bike on it.

It's gravel. So just a bumpy ride. I ride on it with my my MTB with panniers with no worries.

Sounds good. It is traversable from Boring as well? It will be at about mile 75 or so for me, so I won't be wanting to make too many wrong turns/detours.
