Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It looks like it may have horizontal drops on it. I can't really tell. Email them and ask for a better pic of the rear dropouts.

I'm sorry. I forgot that you were such a master of composition and grammar.

The drops look vertical, you might have a tiny tiny tiny bit of play in them but the bike would fall into the 'perfect gear' category, where only one gear ( + or - 4 teeth in either direction) will fit. My pinarello is like this. It works, but it's certainly not ideal. I do love funny bikes though so I say buy it.

It looks like you'd have some play in there, but, as noted above, it could be tough. Check this out, though: half link! A whole lot cheaper than an eccentric hub. (If the link doesn't work, it's on www.danscomp.com under chains.) If that's the only thing keeping you from grabbing the bike, I say go for it.
