How Often Do U tune your Gears?
I always do high jumps with a hardtail XC bike and sometimes after those jumps my gears seems to jump from the first to the third... I wonder if its the problem that i didnt tune my bike properly or something else... could u guys tell me ? Thanks! CHEERS!

It's the chain going slack and then finding a place to catch hold, but it's not always the same ring you were in in the first place. pretty common, you can get a chain tensioner, or a chainguide.

Ditto. You can't tune your bike not to do that. Although I only run two rings and have my chain so tight that when it is in the bigring(most peoples middle) and the biggest ring on the cassette my deraileur is parellel to the ground. That keeps enough tension to stop the chain dropping....much.
