uneven braking on my front avids
There seems to be a section of the disc that the braking on my front road avids bb7 disc brakes is less. It creates uneven braking. I've taken the disc off, cleaned it, fine sanded it down, re installed and retorqued the whole thing. Tested it and worked good for 1/2 mile, then came back. I have NOT looked at the pads. Any ideas?
Thanks

If it's Avid V brakes you have, then try Koolstop salmon or black/salmon pads.
I had squealing and grabbing problems for years and the black/salmon pads are a big improvement and seems to have solved both problems.

Nope, sorry for my lack of detail. Its an Avid 160mm BB7 disc. I'm using the standard Avid pads. It grabs very well, except for just a small section, which makes the braking 'pulsate'.
