Bikes: Rans Tailwind, Electra Townie with hub motor, Burley Koosah
Greetings from Minnesota
I rediscovered riding a few years ago. After 40 some years of turning pedals I was pretty much wore out, and thought I was done riding. Then I discovered recumbent bikes, and electric assist about 5 years ago.
I am riding now more then ever. I have a Rans Rocket, Rans Tailwind, and Burley Koosah. I have an Electra Townie with a front hub motor, and a Rans Stratus with a rear hub motor.
If I could only have one bike I would keep the Tailwind, and if I could have two I would keep the Townie also.
Bikes to me are just one of those things that make the world a better place. I am mostly a utility rider. I ride to work and the stores. I ride to friends houses and so on. I also like to go on bike riding vacations. That is what I use the Koosah for. It is a very comfortable but somewhat slow bike. Perfect for eating like a pig and leisurely going down the trails all the rest of the day on a vacation.
Some other things I do that make the world a better place is, I like to play music with a 4 string plectrum banjo. do partner dancing with my girlfriend, and do organic vegetable gardening.
I look forward to getting to know you, and for now happy trails.

Oh, oh, oh, oh
My first ever message on the bike forum, and from a tall fabulous blonde.
I don't know if this old guy can take much more. I have to go rest for a while, then maybe then do a little pedal pumping.
Thanks for the nice welcome.

Don't people fall off the earth when you get
to the other side of the equator?
How do you keep your balance when you are riding upside down?
Thanks for the welcome.

greedings.
I'm in Andover (bout 20 miles n of the Twin C's).
I have a lot of bike trails around me, and mostly flat land.
You must have some big hills to conquer.
