I live in Palmetto Bay(next to pinecrest). I am also interested in these rides. I see these big groups early in the morning and wish I knew where they started.

OK, I had forgotten about this thread..

The Pinecrest ride is basically a race. It rolls out from Pinecrest Elementary at 7:30AM on Saturdays and heads over to Key Biscayne, and from there they'll turn the key into a circuit race doing laps between the toll booth and the park.

There were 3 laps and primes of $50, $100, and $250, along with about 150-200 people, on the morning I rolled with the ride. I attacked and got away with three other guys on the first lap, but came up peanuts. Still, it was a fun way to spend a morning.

Saturday & Sunday, they roll out from Pinecrest Elementary at 7:30. If you show up at 7:15 you'll find plenty of people to tell you what's what.

They also meet several days during the week at the corner of Red and Sunset, but I don't know anything about those rides. But I'm sure someone on the weekend ride can give you the four one one.
