The bikes got replaced........

by a guitar! Hadn't been riding much-seems like it was monsoon season for a while 'round here, then it went to heat indexes of 100 with humidity to match! So I broke out the old acoustic (Yamaha FG-360) the other day and had so much fun that I thought I might also like to get myself another electric also (had sold my old Gretsch decades ago). So went out and found a nice, used, Greg Bennett UM-1 (plays and sounds great for an inexpensive import!), and bought a practice amp. Keeping the bikes, hoping to get some ride time in soon, but enjoying the gee-tars for now. Now, maybe I should get out that old camera bag with the Nikon and all the lenses and filters! No, too many hobbies, not enough time. But the bikes stay-they will never be sold, might not be used as much as they used to be, but learned my lesson about parting with good equipment.

Glad you're enjoying playing again. However, if my bikes get ignored for too long they sneak into the house at night and cut the strings on my guitars. Don't let the bikes go unused too long.

Agreed, do not under any circumstances let the bikes think that you are ignoring them. And don't forget your leg muscles, they may atrophy and not be able to move... ... ...build a rack to carry your guitar on your rides, take a rest in the middle of your ride to make beautiful music. OR take your camera and take some pics...to show us where you go.
