Cleaning parts with Brake Cleaner in a can????
I know, I am a barbarian.......but is there any problem with this? (besides environmental)
Grease just seems to drip off effortlessly, and my chain and cassette are always shiney
Plus, it's cheap and I have a lot of it.

Brake cleaner works fine ... just remember all the usual caveats about well-ventilated work space, avoiding painted surfaces, etc., etc.

Brake cleaner is great, just avoid open flames with it as well.

WAtch out for plastic items too. Melted a fender and dork disc on one of mine once
