Miyata 310 62cm frame and extras - nice

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 62cm
Miyata 310 frame in excellent condition. Frame size is 62cm, top tube is 57.5 cm. The frame is constructed of triple butted tubing. Lugs have nice detailing. This is a great example of the quality frames Japanese manufacturers were creating in the 1980's. According to the serial number this is a 1984 model.
Paint is fresh and glossy. There is a very small scrape on the seat tube I applied some clear nail polish to. Otherwise all decals look almost new.
Included with the frame are the original SR/Sakae seatpost, stem and handlebars. The headset has fresh Phil Wood grease.
Because of the unusual top mount shifters, this would make an excellent single speed or fixed gear. You could also attach something here to carry your morning coffee :-)
Price is an even $80. If Beverly is not convenient, I can also meet in Central Square, Cambridge during weekday work hours.

This is a 1976 Custom Model A racing bicycle built by famed, now retired builder Albert Eisentraut of Oakland, CA. The length dimensions are (all Center to Center measurements):

Fork Rake 4.3 cm
Frame is constructed of Columbus SP tubing and demonstrates the fine lug work for which Eisentraut was known. Paint and decals are original and in superb condition.
I purchased the frame in 2001. The bike was built on April 9, 1976 according to the Serial Number (040976) which can be seen in one of the photographs. The frame had never been built up! It took me a year to locate all the NOS components which include:
