I have a 6 months old Giant Trance X2 with Fox 32 F120 RL forks. Well, I raced it once, then I had it in the shed for about 3 months. To my surprise, the fork went completely flat over the 3 months. I oiled it, then I pumped it back; it lost all air in 3 days. Should I assume there is something wrong with it, or it will come back to life after a few rides? I am pretty inclined to take it back for warranty.

I don't think I've ever added air to my F32. Two years between factory rebuilds.

Fix it.

I agree. I can't remember the last tie I put air in my fork.

What did you oil?
Did you check to see if the valve is leaking?
It might be something simple like a loose or faulty valve core. Pump up the fork and put a bit of spit on the top of the valve, if it bubbles then that's where the leak is. Valve cores are easy to tighten and only cost a few cents to replace.

Thanks everyone, I'll take it back to the shop. Cobba, I did try the valve, no leak apparent there, as for the oil, I smeared few drops of teflon based lubricant on the stanchions (? not sure on the word), just abobe the dust seals. Cheers!

Guys, me again, just to close the subject. The fork was definetely faulty, they pull it apart for sure, I have an 'O' ring as travel indicator, which I didn't have before. They didn't say what was wrong with it, but it works now. Cheers, Thanks for advice
