Limited Edition COLORS on smaller Kilo TT sizes
I have had several posters ask about the special colors that will come on on a limited basis for 44c, 47c, and 50c sizes
They are now in
https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...tt_special_ed/
I would love to hear input on these colors {and any other ideas on new colors for future production runs}
Thanks
Mike

Agreed that the fork decals are a HUGE turnoff. None of the new colors are appealing to me, either. My favs for a smaller frame would be the current purple, cream, slate, and white. None of these new ones are any better than any of those imho. The blue one that you've named "celeste" is nothing like what celeste is supposed to be.

Exactly, for a girl, like my gf for instance. Colors like pink and baby blue are so played out it's not even funny. I really don't ever see stylish females 16-30that really rock much of those typical colors with anything they buy. Those colors tend to be more of an accent, and not the main color on their accessories, shoes, clothes, sports equipment, etc...
I'd much rather see a small sized regular KiloTT (not Pro) in cream or a lighter purple like lavender or something. Maybe some non-metallic finishes too, in any size.

This is an interesting comment; As my wife and daughter picked these colors. And named the colors.
To answer a few other questions and comments:
We do have Kilo TT without decals coming next month - called TheStripper and in Raw and metallic colors.
The Moto Messengers we have gotten in Pink sold like crazy; so I think there is demand for pink.
Grape Soda we did bring, but not listed as a limited edition color; as Grape Soda has become a 'standard' color on Kilo TT.
These colors are in complete bikes only, not in framesets yet {might do that if enough demand}
I am going to try a lot of other colors that are being suggested by customers - including metallics, fades, chrm / paint combos, pearls, etc. I like having options like this as colors are fun.
thanks for all comments

Well whatever colors you come out with now, or later, it's great to see you getting a feel for the pulse of this forum and trying out new things. Keep it up!

The colors look good, but nothing that really grabs at me. The blue is nice... I'd ride that one, but it's no celeste (and you'd get reemed by everyone if you make one in actual celeste).
I know i would be in the minority... but I'd love a tan (something darker than the cream, but not brown).... then again, I haven't seen the cream color in person. I've seriously been debating buying a complete and stripping it to have the frame powdercoated (I know the cost will rise quicker than my wallet can if I do a frame-up build).
What about red (metallic or not)? Seems to have been skipped... and it's a pretty basic color, with lots of matching components/tires/etc. It works with all black or all polished stuff too.

Celeste is funny, as it means one thing in general, and another to cyclists - based on Bianchi's great success with their special celeste - which I would never do - in my mind Bianchi owns that color; but not the word
"de co·lor ce·les·te Adjective
sky-blue; Synonyms: azul celeste, celeste, cerúleo; Azul claro obtenido al mezclarlo con una porción de blanco. "
Cream has sold well, I would like to find a darker Tan that might not kill sales like brown often does
I love RED, and we have a nice one coming on The Stripper

Please don't do it!!!!!!!!! Only because my girlfriend ordered one of the Jury frames in orange because she couldn't find a reasonable pink frame.....this'll send her over the edge! Those colors are the stuff. If I'd been offered those choices I would definitely bought the baby blue over the green that I got.....

I would really like to see some pearl frames with little to know decals. I don't mind maybe the head tube decal and the Reynolds decal, but other than that, I think a nice pearl white, pearl silver, and deep pearl green and a dark pewter pearl would be hot. You have to think about what is up and coming, not what is in style now. But thanks for asking us, I appreciate the willingness to seek out.
