ProBikeKit.com has the PB Superflash on sale for $6

https://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=M0004

I would get a few for myself, but I already have 6 PB SF units, and I think any more would be overkill (I use 4 at a time in the winter swapped between 3 bikes).

Based on some reviews I found on the Smart unit, the flashing pattern is NOT like PB SF. (A bright burst from the big LED followed by a few blinks from the smaller LED's below the Blaze unit). The Smart unit sounds like it moved to a standard blinky pattern to meet UK guidelines (straigt on-off-on pattern with regular intervals).

However, for $6.16 shipped each, I don't think you are going to find a better deal.

Deal will last until next Tuesday or until they run out.

wow that is a good deal!
I just got a Carradice barley bag from Wiggle.uk that was like $50 cheaper than any listed price from US dealers - it was like 39.99 plus $15 shipping. the cheapest I found here was $100 PLUS shipping!

I tried to order. Would not allow me to enter in a US address.

Figured it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Ooh, nice find. Thanks, OP. I paid $25 for my last planet bike super flash. Paying 1/4 of the price for it is quite a nice deal. Just bought one as a backup...

The PB SuperFlash is the most over hyped light made. Way to directional. In my 15+ years of bike commuting the Viewpoint is one of be the better.

At this price you could afford to get three and mount them pointing three different directions ;P

It sells for 14.75$ CAD year-round at MEC.

EDIT: I read 16$ for some reason. Well, 14.75$ is still better than the usual 25-30$ I see in the USA.

I have a bunch of PB's, and a Viewpoint. I have to highly disagree.

Now, if you want to talk a "be seen" light lets talk Dinotte..

Who makes the Viewpoint? Regardless, I wouldn't consider the PB Superflash overhyped. I have used quite a few different tail-lights over the years, and the only one brighter than the PBSF is Dinotte in my experience.

Dunno.. Performance sells them. I have this one and it can't hold a candle to a Superflash. :

I have a Dinotte on one bike. People have actually complained about that one.

Nice find. I have 3 Super Flashes, having ordered the most recent 2 at Amazon at 2 for about $25, shipped. This is a steal- picked up 2 more from PBK and a pair of Saxo Bank gloves for a total of $24 shipped.

I just bought 2 of these last week from PBK for $15 each.

Everything about these is either identical or compatible with the Planet Bike SuperFlash. The flash pattern and solid-on mode is different, though. In flash mode, all 3 LEDs flash at the same time, compared to the PB pattern where the main LED and smaller LEDs flash at different rates. The solid-on mode turns all 3 LEDs on, compared to the PB version which only turns on the main LED.

Dang I missed it!!! I have both the PB SuperFlash and the Viewpoint. The PBK is pretty bright and the Viewpoint is very decent. I do like the Planet Bike better since they sell all kinds of accessories for their lights.
