Anyone have experience with Q-tubes super light? I'm thinking of buying some at the 700x28 size because they are light (100g) and cheap ($2.50 on Amazon). Has anyone used them? Is the low price an indication of their quality?

No one seems interested, but for reference purposes, I thought I'd post an update. I've had them on my bike for about a month now and haven't had any problems. The price is way less than anything comparable, yet they don't seem to have any quality issues.

I bought 4 tubes, including tax and shipping, for under $15. And, if you're a weight weenie, they do weigh the advertised amount of 100g per tube. Highly recommended.

Bought some myself out of curiosity, but haven't thrown them on the bike yet. The 700x28s come in at about 113 grams if anyone's counting. I'll give a little micro-report also if I actually end up using them.

That's strange. My 700x28s were 100 grams exactly. Poor quality control? For the price I paid, I'd believe it. Mine are still going strong, even after a few potholes.

Or it could be my scale. 13 grams is nothing though for the price, so I won't sweat it. FYI for anyone else interested: if you go to Niagara Cycle Works who is probably handling these on Amazon, they have plenty more sizes available.

Your bike is running 700x38 tyres and you're worried about tube weight? Does not make sense.

Re-read the posts. We're both running 700x28 not 38 and neither of us care about weight. We're just being careful about our reviews for the weight-conscious out there.
