Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I'm getting skrewed on this deal aren't I

I'm about to buy a bike for $300 It's a KHS aero track, the one with the sloping top tube. The only thing is it's Frame, Fork, Bottom Bracket, and Headset that's it. And i've heard of completes going for a little over a hundred more than this NEW!!! Nothing has exchanged hands yet. . . but I really need a new bike soon. I'm going over there today to check it out. PLEASE don't give me the whole buy a surley or a soma or whatever other bike instead, I want sloping tube and I need it soon. If someone knows of a KHS or another sloping top tube Track bike for sale for cheaper, please let me know. Thank's soo much guys.

I haven't seen one cheaper, fully built or otherwise. Is it the orange steel or red Aluminium?

Sometimes it's ok to get screwed as long as you end up with what you wanted. Just get the darn thing and enjoy.

my thoughts exactly.....if its 100% what you want, no matter what the cost, you'll never think twice about the price again

Same thing with my Cervelo......bikes with similar parts can go for around $2000 or less on sale, yet full retail for My bike was $3000. I paid $2,700. But I have what I wanted. (NZ$ HERE!)

I just picked it up!!! the kid was really nice and forgot that the fork was like 40 miles away and we didn't have time to get it so he's giving it to me for 250 and throwing in a free stem and free seat post. I'm pretty happy about this!!! thanks for all the help and i'll be posting this up once i've finished.

RED! RED! RED!

(sorry for the redundancy, but one "RED!" was too short for posting and two just didn't seem right.)
